Eight Years, Five Cities

From frontend developer in Madrid to CTO in Barcelona.

Eight years ago, I embarked on a journey that started with my first production React component at Cesce in Madrid, a small but critical form within a sprawling legacy codebase. This seemingly minor task was the genesis of a career path spanning five cities and culminating in building a company from the ground up. My focus has always been on delivering tangible value, fostering innovation, and steering teams toward strategic technical leadership, consistently seeking environments where I can build, mentor, and drive significant impact with long-term stability.

At Cesce, I honed a philosophy that software is a liability – every line shipped is a promise to maintain. This instilled in me a preference for elegant deletions over unnecessary additions and a rigorous approach to security, viewing it as a foundational habit rather than a mere checklist. Moving to Nomoko in Switzerland, I transitioned from fintech to pushing the boundaries of 3D visualization. Working between a serene lake and imposing mountains, I spent two years leveraging Three.js and spatial data to create digital twins of cities, optimizing rendering pipelines for massive datasets. This intense experience taught me that performance isn't just a metric; it's a profound respect for the user's time and a testament to creative engineering solutions under challenging constraints.

From Switzerland, I joined Mindera, first in London, where I contributed to digital transformation for Giffgaff, focusing on telecom at scale for millions of users. Later, in New York with Instantgroup, I led another enterprise real estate migration from legacy systems to modern React architectures. These pivotal years taught me that effective architecture is as much about coalescing human teams and diverse perspectives as it is about designing robust systems. Working across different cities and cultures profoundly deepened my product perspective, showing me how global interactions shape our technological approaches and enhance our ability to cohesion environments and drive innovation.

My most recent journey led me to Barcelona with Enso, where I stepped in as Founding Tech Lead and swiftly advanced to CTO. We started with a blank canvas – no product, no existing tech stack, and zero revenue. Within a challenging thirty-day timeframe, I architected a singular PropTech engine that seamlessly managed properties, payments, and user verification, propelling us to achieve an impressive €30k in monthly recurring revenue. This experience distilled eight years of learning into one powerful lesson: start with first principles, iterate with velocity, and maintain system simplicity to ensure adaptability and long-term value. This role perfectly exemplifies my drive to lead, build, and deliver quantifiable results in dynamic startup environments, always aiming for a stable role where I can continuously drive significant technical and business impact.

The interactive map on this page is more than decoration; each pin marks a place that fundamentally reshaped my approach to technology and leadership. Madrid, Zurich, London, New York, Barcelona – this blend of diverse contexts, encompassing Spanish discipline, Swiss precision, British scale, American speed, and Catalan ambition, is deeply ingrained in how I design resilient systems and cultivate high-performing teams. While this page narrates my strategic journey and evolution as a technical leader, the tangible proof of my capabilities and the impact of my solutions, including my work with OpenClaw and innovative AI agents, is detailed in my portfolio. Here, you find the story; there, the demonstrable evidence.
