HELLO, I’M MARCOS

Curiosity tends to
turn into projects.

I like the moment when an idea becomes something somebody can use. Understanding a problem, finding its structure, making a decision, and building: that is where I feel most at home.

Today I’m Founding Engineer and Head of Engineering at Fynza. I started development as the only engineer in April 2026; we launched our financial-platform MVP in Mexico in early September. Our engineering team now has eight people. Before that, I was CTO at Enso Coliving.

My route into this work has a few turns. I’m a philosophy graduate, studied audio production at SAE Institute, and taught myself to program. Those interests still sit together: asking better questions, finding useful models, and caring about how something feels.

Away from work, that curiosity becomes puzzles, games, music tools and software for everyday life. I’m also a member of Mensa. I enjoy ideas most when there is somebody to explore them with.

Questions first.

Philosophy gave me a place to question assumptions and work carefully with ideas. I bring that same interest to the models behind software.

Follow your ears.

Audio production connects technical decisions with something you can immediately feel. That relationship keeps drawing me back to music tools.

Make room for play.

Board games, systems, shared conventions and the occasional ridiculous idea. Play is a good reason to build something.

AWAY FROM THE DESK

The long way
through a new place.

Local supermarkets, unfamiliar streets, live music and the small details that make somewhere feel different. A few photographs and places I’ve collected along the way.
